@nbtapioles it's definitely best for illustrative 3D. i think i can find use for it though
i often have to scale the head down for extreme poses, and this is a good alternative, especially at subtler values.

@Inveestigator i wonder if the switching is what feels weird, and if people would notice the head flattening on its own.
