Canada is doubling down on discriminatory regulations targeting American streaming services and digital creators. A top Canadian regulator confirmed new rules implementing Canada's discriminatory Online Streaming Act are coming soon. That’s why I introduced the Protecting American Streaming and Innovation Act to authorize a Section 301 investigation into these harmful policies, and I will keep fighting to defend free expression, innovation, and American jobs.

I can’t believe the CBC did something like this. Using taxpayer money to mislead, deceive and outright lie to ordinary Canadians, including retired RCMP veterans, to trick them into taking part in some sort of twisted political propaganda film. Fake documentaries that slander Canadian history, defame Canadian institutions like the RCMP and smear the reputation of our first Prime Minister, Sir John A. Macdonald. Spending who knows how much of your money to set up an elaborate ruse (including fake websites, fake companies and fake identities) while engaging American actors and producers to insult Canada’s past. Will the Liberal Minister responsible for the CBC own up to this decision and defend it? Or will someone at the CBC finally be held accountable?

One wonders what it will take for Canada to take its own laws seriously. Canadian, Khaled Barakat -a US-sanctioned leader of the PFLP terrorist organisation and chief of Samidoun, which Canada itself has officially designated a terrorist entity - is openly organising a conference in Toronto for November 2026. Its title? “3 Years of Al-Aqsa Flood” - a brazen celebration of Hamas’s October 7 massacre: 1,200 Jews slaughtered, women raped, babies burned alive, and 251 taken hostage into Gaza’s tunnels. This is the very same Barakat who publicly justified the murder of two young Israeli embassy staffers in Washington DC as a “natural consequence” of events in Gaza. Let us be clear: this is not debate, not activism, not “resistance.” It is the open glorification of terrorism and the most depraved Jew-hatred on Canadian soil, by networks formally listed as terrorist by the very country hosting them.
