While I get what you’re trying to say, I think you might be mixing up discipline and hard work. Discipline isn’t the same thing as effort or working hard.. It’s a broader trait - consistency, delayed gratification, financial habits, decision-making over time, etc and those things do tend to show up in measurable outcomes, especially economically. So if someone is genuinely disciplined in that sense, it should eventually reflect somewhere, saving, planning, stability, career progression. If it doesn’t, then we’re probably describing something else, not discipline.

I wonder when we’ll eventually get proper NGX ETFs. Would make diversification much easier for retail investors. But as always, diversification is key. Personally I’d probably structure it more like: Banking: 35 - 40% Energy/Power: 20% Industrial/Cement: 15% Agriculture: 10 - 15% Telecoms: 10% FMCG & other financial services: the rest Banks still look relatively undervalued, energy and agro are strong inflation/ FX hedges, while industrials and telecoms give stability. FMCGs still feel more selective to me in this environment.

It’s not rocket science. If they don’t see it just like everyone else then it means they’re choosing not to see it. They’re not surprised at all. Even prisons and regular criminals do not have that kind of rehabilitation and integration program but why not terrorists. They’re all complicit.

If you keep releasing “rehabilitated” terrorists into society, then why are you surprised that terrorism & insecurity has increased.

When buying stocks in the NGX, your portfolio needs to have structure. It’s not just buying and selling haphazardly.

The bias with Harry Kane is that he spent his glorious years at Spurs. If he played a decade at Bayern, nobody in this world will say he's a tier below Benzema, that's madness. There is absolutely nothing Benzema can do, that he cannot...Guess what, he can also playmake in a way Benzema and 90% of strikers cannot.

I’ve realized that a lot of poor people are actually very disciplined. They just don’t get rewarded enough for it. That’s why “work hard” advice sounds insulting sometimes.

“Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, a minute before the final whistle was dancing up and down the touchline” This is how you and your colleagues celebrated reaching the UEFA Cup final in 2006. Stop being a hypocrite and allow players and fans to enjoy their moment.

@footbolmatter10 Ask Ronaldo. All this started with him. Dembele is just using the template. You’re not ready to be honest

I don’t understand why he is getting ballon D’or shouts Is this what football has become now? Ghost and be inconsistent in the first half of the season and be great towards the second half of the season.

The Balloon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembele was substituted just before the 70th minute in a crucial match and his reaction was outstanding. He applauded his fans, motivated his teammates, body language all positive and went ahead to shake his coach like a proud son. Marcus Rashford in that situation would show all signs of disgust and disappointment. The Mbappe fans are delusional about would show the same body language. Positive mentality like that of Dembele is exactly what we need in the dressing room, we don’t need egoistic individuals who would destroy the dressing room with their attitude and weak sportsmanship.

@Adikastakes His decision making sets him apart. The only way is if he exceeds expectations at the World Cup and dembele performs poorly.

Kvaratskhelia has as much a claim to the Ballon D’or as Dembele, if not more.

As it stands now, either I marry a photographer, make up artist or bouncer because you must work at the wedding. Let us not carry inside money, outside, my husband.
