NGL I couldn't imagine my life if I didn't get into board gaming I was an extremely shy person that had trouble connecting to people. Board gaming felt like a safe space to learn some social skills. It also taught me how to frame complex ideas into digestible formats, which helped me become better at games and able to teach others as well. Another beneficial side effect is writing. Before board reviews, I used to do video game reviews. This was in 2000s and I had a decade gap since I needed a career. Board gaming threw me back into the wolves and I'm happy for it. Even social media seems to slowly favor writing again, especially with the rise of AI slop. Unfortunately it still promotes misinformation and heavy conflict (many people made that their personal brand), but baby steps in the right direction Anyways, that's my morning nonsense.

What countries / languages should we add?

How do we feel about the intersection between board games, TCG, and sports cards. Is there more and more overlap?
