@DanielGalef @EbrightYon @peligrietzer @aisiantonas If you really think about it, you could make an argument for how the sweater is only in the clearance bin because the trend has passed, likely replaced by a new one that's, again, likely influenced by those in fashion.

@DanielGalef @EbrightYon @peligrietzer @aisiantonas True, but the point was on how fashion trickles down into mass clothing. In this case, it's clear that at some point, cerulean did become a trend. It might not be in season now, but that doesn't negate the fact that it started in high fashion in the movie's world.

@DanielGalef @EbrightYon @peligrietzer @aisiantonas Also, the setting matters. Miranda speaks from a strategic industry pov. For them, color is decided based on trends, forecasts, etc. We as the audience don't really have to fully agree with her. Andy herself complains about it in the next scene.

@DanielGalef @EbrightYon @peligrietzer @aisiantonas Just gonna insert. It's less about availability, more on what colors are stocked, prioritized, or framed as "in season". Obviously, you could choose one at random, but it's not wrong to say we're, knowingly or not, often influenced by what the industry actually promotes.

@britchef25 @ManMilk2 + The US has very strong naval recovery capabilities and easy ocean access compared to say China or Russia, so splashdowns make sense for them. If you're gonna try to mock a whole education system over this at least try to actually think about it lol.

@britchef25 @ManMilk2 Obviously water doesn't go "boing". You're looking too much into a post made for fun. Also, you can't just get "better parachutes". Both landings would require more effort one way or another. Recovery for splashdowns, airbags/shock absorbers/etc. for land landing.

@britchef25 @ManMilk2 If it wasn't obvious, there are parachutes. They slow down enough to a speed where hitting the water is safe, but not enough to land on actual land.

@LionmightMusic when everyone was bored as hell stuck at home is what really kickstarted it. In the first place, the whole gacha monetization model is what keeps it running, and that alone almost inherently stops actually making a cohesive, artistically masterful story.

@LionmightMusic Calling it an artistic masterpiece is a reach, definitely not the main reason behind it's success. If you wanna compare to other games, the main reason GI got popular was cuz it the first of its kind at its scale. A long-term, free-to-play, high-production game being released-

The success of Genshin Impact being attributed to the pandemic is such a cope of an argument. There were other games that were released during the pandemic, but why didn't any of them succeed in terms of longevity and cultural impact? It is simply because Hoyoverse created a great game, a great world, a great set of characters, great lore and excellent music to weave it all together. An artistic masterpiece of a game. The pandemic simply spedrun the inevitable. But Genshin Impact would have been a massive success anyway without it.
Meiru@MeiruMoon

Si bien el factor pandemia fue clave para el éxito de genshin en su momento creo que hay que destacar que también se la sacaron creando personajes tan icónicos que además trascendieron fuera del juego, es decir que son reconocidos incluso en otras comunidades

@__yuraii2 I do enjoy the animations, but it's pretty fair to admit they block the view of the actual fighting at times. I just don't think that matters that much since the game probably isn't meant to be combat-heavy anyway.

@__yuraii2 I don't think you know what an iPad kid is because flashy stuff is exactly what they enjoy. It's all about stimulation, and what's more stimulating than a bunch of bright, fast-paced lights and colors on a screen.

@gavinstre @Mattspossessive @otaldojunioor @manzraj You do realize that there is not a single "mainstream" singing career where artists don't use mics, right? The closest is opera, and even then the audience wouldn't be screaming like they would at an arena concert (and to add, even then some still use mics at a distance).

@Mattspossessive @otaldojunioor @manzraj she has a pretty falsetto and cute riffs but none of that whispering translates well in a LARGE STADIUM or even an arena. almost inaudible.

@mbasyarullah6 @ScriptionW3 @kirimavibes Yeah, that doesn't negate the fact that changes can still be made months before release. People have been complaining about lacking interactions since at least 2.6, i.e. half a year ago. Obv not enough to change the core story but definitely enough to add some side interactions.

@Raythiel_98 @kirimavibes Most of the people who actually asked for interactions are fine with it. Even among those complaining, it's less about the interactions and more about forcing a side/event quest in the msq (though I personally like having a mid-msq break).

@kirimavibes But why these "character interaction" clowns hating the story? Didnt they asked for it?

@Ybsybsybs6 @vavawonyoung Well yeah? Hype is basically just intense publicity/promotion to prop someone up. People streaming their songs, buying their albums, and attending their concerts doesn't really contradict that.
