@TipsWatch When you enter your purchase TD gives you a message indicating it will be for the next business day (unless it's scheduled for a later date). So I think you can, with minimal risk, buy an I-Bond on 4/30 if you enter it before 4/29. I'll let you know how it works out for me.

This seems to indicate that the Treasury *might* accept and complete April I Bond orders on Tuesday, April 30. I'd say that is risky, because the money transer and order may not complete until May 1. So get this done on Monday, at the latest.

Typical buy-in for places we'd want to live: $650,000+ and monthly costs of $7,000 and up. Those costs will go up, certainly. (However, I have noticed rents for regular, mass-market 2-bedroom apartments creeping up to $3,500 and beyond.)

We've been doing some exploratory looks at senior living options -- for years down the road. (Getting your name on a waiting list is the strategy.) The buy-in and monthly costs are eye-opening, and reinforce the need to safe smartly for retirement.

@ehjones1 There is much to be outraged about. I think the time for outrage is over & the time to move forward with "progressive" ideas (I use that term in it's apolitical sense) is upon us. In a military/sport context Outrage = Defense; Ideas = Offense. It's harder to score/win on defense

@ehjones1 I assumed you were implying the video shared did not correctly portray Acosta's behavior. The WaPo shows original CSPAN video and WH video side by side and acknowledges any differences could have come from format change..not "doctoring"
