❗️The first FULL GUIDE to web payments for subscription apps The guide we wish existed when we started. We spent half a year building our payment system from scratch, across a whole portfolio of apps. Now we're sharing a full playbook, with every step explained. What's inside: - Why web, and when it pays off - Which provider you actually need - KYC without getting blocked - Clean integration, step by step - Fraud control and a 0.1% chargeback rate ➡️ Read it here: talaboos.com/blog?utm_sourc… ⬅️ High-performing apps are moving to web-to-app funnels for faster iteration, better attribution, and stronger revenue control. With this guide you can skip straight to what works. ❗️❗️❗️Follow Talaboos for more experiments, systems, and lessons from real projects.

Web payments might be the most avoided topic in subscription apps. So we put together the full guide. Kseniya Bakumova, our Head of Payments, took the Main Stage at @AppGrowthSummit Berlin and walked through the part most teams learn the hard way: building web payment infrastructure from scratch. ✔️ Why web, and when it pays off ✔️ Which provider you actually need ✔️ How to pass KYC without getting blocked ✔️ How to keep chargebacks under 0.1% We backed the talk with fresh data from @adapty and @Funnelfoxhq, so thanks to both for the great recent research on the state of subscription apps. App Growth Summit was the right room for this. Sharp crowd, strong talks, and the kind of conversations that actually move things forward. Thanks to Louis Tanguay and the team for having us! 🔥 The feedback afterward was the best part, so many of you said this is exactly where you're stuck. So we're expanding the deck into ➡️ a full written guide with every step explained ⬅️ , and sharing it right here on LinkedIn. Follow Talaboos so you don't miss it 🤝

We gave 3 teams a random niche and 6 hours to build a full MVP: app, funnel, creatives, unit economics. The winning product goes into real production. Here's the format ↓ 1/ Random niches. 6 hours. Each team had a dev, PM, UA or payments manager, and creative. Task: deliver a working MVP with funnel, creatives, and unit economics. ❗ How MVP standards shifted in 2026 and why we run it this way: talaboos.com/blog/speed-of-… 2/ The flow: Brainstorm & Research → Unit economics → Setup → Product + Marketing in parallel → Pitch 3/ Everyone voted with $100K virtual capital. Winner took it by $100K. Their product goes into production. Why it works: when every decision is grounded in real economics, team thinking becomes transparent. No abstract feature debates. Full format breakdown with the step-by-step flow: linkedin.com/feed/update/ur… Tried this with your team?

Brand building works inward first. Product branding is a different game, most don't get serious about it until closer to $1M MRR. But the team brand matters from day one. Build it with your people. An aligned team is the strongest employer brand you can have. P.s. First spontaneous offline get-together for a remote-first team (not the whole team, but remote hellos landed just fine) & internal hackathon on the way. The fun part is just starting.

Everyone’s outsourcing their life to agents, and then sprinting back to a Mac mini to stop the robot uprising We work in advertising and we know the trick. But the message "if you haven’t set up an AI agent yet, you’re behind" works, because FOMO is one of the stickiest hooks out there. AI agents are marketed for the wow factor, and much less often as a tool you can accidentally nuke your data with. Summer Yue (AI safety/alignment at Meta) asked OpenClaw: “look at my inbox and suggest what to delete or archive, but don’t do anything without my confirmation”. On a “toy” mailbox it worked. On the real one, the agent went on a cleanup speedrun and ignored “STOP” until she ran over to kill the process on her computer. Other users are seeing the pattern: split a dangerous command into a chain of “normal” steps, and some agents slip past safety because each step looks harmless on its own. ❗️Reminder: agents are powerful, but go in with a clear head ignoring the FOMO. If you give agents access to email/drive/repos, what rules actually work for you? Ever had a case where it saved you or backfired?

AI can now tell you what people will pay for Here's a new “one-day profitable app” recipe that seems to work in almost any niche. Step 1: Scrape the negative reviews. Step 2: Drop them into Claude Code. Step 3: Ship the stuff competitors still don’t do. One question still stands: do users actually know what they need? ❓ When someone writes “I’d pay for this” in a review, is that real intent to spend, or just rage that disappears the second there’s a paywall? ❓Is it even right to optimize for the most unhappy users, instead of the ones who pay and stick around? ❓Does a feature gap equal PMF? ❓Does shipping fast equal retention? What do you think? Would you run this as an experiment, and what would you measure first?

Chinese robots learned to do backflips in a year. How many tutorials have you pulled out of your saves? Tech levels up every day. Easy, no FOMO. Just a friendly reminder: one step every week, a couple of hours on a new tool/AI, and in a year your agents will be doing backflips.
