@dominos your delivery service is terrible. Tracker says my order was delivered (it was not) and my only remediation is to call the store who is not answering? Delivery insurance offers a coupon on future order but….i didn’t get this one so that’s useless

Wow @Nordstrom this is a bit of an extreme way to stop someone from giving you money. It is common behavior to open product pages in new tabs while browsing to review after without losing your place in the results. Easier to go to another website than to call customer service.

I try to abstain from “revert to old UI design” behavior because I know those are usually temporary bandaids to quiet the vocal haters but… I have no idea why the new phone app layout includes this repetitive/garbage/orphaned tile layout and so I gladly accept the escape hatch.

@TaylorCashdan Actually, it’s the same target today as it was in the 40s. And the proof is the surge of antisemitism and hate crimes against Jews outside of Israel that we’ve seen since 10/7. The Palestinian people have been a political pawn of Islamic extremists for decades.

Tool proficiency is the 1 thing I expect a junior designer to surpass my skill level in, only because the tool de jour has changed twice since I became a design manager and the time it would take to maintain my own tool proficiency isn’t justified given my role responsibilities.

@TaylorCashdan While the holocausts Jewish death toll was staggering, its infamy has more to do with the motivations behind and methods of inflicting those deaths. Motivations and circumstances matter. The reason these 2 events aren’t comparable has nothing to do with math.

@taliafish Hard-disagree. It can absolutely be comparable when size of area/population is normalized for scale. It’s more irony than anything. We’re indoctrinated in temple and Hebrew school “never again” yet we’re watching tens of thousands of women and children get slaughtered 🤷🏻♂️
