@arinarium @intellijidea Brew installed - i was literally using them this morning. Eventually after a long day of meetings - logged out and in and it found them again - stupidly weird.

@talios @intellijidea What kind of fonts? Any example? What is your OS? How/from where did you install them? Are they recent additions or old ones? Did you try rebooting the system / restarting the IDE? Try 'File | Manage IDE Settings | Restore Default Settings' (backup copy will be created).

WAT - @intellijidea has suddenly stopped recognising some custom fonts I installed. This is annoying.

@GregorySchier @ibuildthecloud I try to like Zed, but coming from IntelliJ it just misses so much for me - either i'm missing something but it has no intelligence about Java, my code, debugging and testing (i've seen mention of debugging but only in a native language setting). I'm obviously missing something

@ibuildthecloud Yup. I felt this when IntelliJ got so buggy I couldn't use it. Switched to Zed and it's mostly fine, but missing so much of the good stuff I enjoyed (like db integration).

I'm lost in a land of no IDE. I managed to alienate myself from all IDEs. I don't know what to do now.

@Its_Nova1012 If you said 30 second ls I'd say a magic DNS timeout somewhere, so thats out. I assume the no lock contention mentioned is on the db, so I'd look for software locks in the API / server - initially checking logs/telementry for time jumps (not just 10sec ones
