@adamscochran Times already up. Crypto failed to make a single meaningful use case outside its cultish bubble of 'decentralized' fetishists. Never mind the fact AI is going to eventually intrude on the space and offer far more powerful solutions crypto never materialized.

Crypto has an increasingly short window, to put forward useful, neutral, and broadly used tech outside the current user base. Too much of its user base let it become overly politicized in the last cycle and now risk being forever associated with the grifter-in-chief. Failing to deliver on the original promises of decentralization and neutrality for the mainstream in this next cycle, would mean that a large portion of the population will shrug off crypto to such an extent that they won’t even give it the time of day to learn about it, assuming it’s all grift. When talking heads made crypto partisan instead of non-partisan; they started the countdown clock. And Trump is going to put the worst of this industry at the forefront again and again on the world stage. That’s a loud message for us to compete with.
