Smiles were brighter on the 20th not just because of toothbrushes, but because people were seen, heard, and cared for.🦷 Grateful for everyone who showed up, supported, and made this outreach a success. This is why we do what we do. #OralHealth #CommunityImpact #FutureDentist

Managing bruxism however involves a mix of self-care and professional help: Stress reduction - Relaxation techniques like meditation, yoga, or deep breathing can help. Dental approaches - Mouthguards or splints to protect teeth, dental adjustments to improve bite. Behavioral changes - Be mindful of clamping or grinding; try to break the habit. Physical therapy - Jaw exercises and stretches can relieve tension. #SeeYourDentist… immediately for personalized advice #Bruxism #14Dentals #OralHealthAwareness

BRUXISM is a Parafunctional Habit caused by the unconscious grinding of the teeth during stress or while asleep. It can lead to: Tooth damage - Wearing down enamel, chips, or cracks. Jaw pain - TMJ disorders, jaw muscle pain. Headaches - Often in temples or face. Sleep disruption - Especially if it happens at night. Gum recession - Exposing roots. #Bruxism #14Dentals #OralHealthAwareness

Yes. To practice dentistry, or any aspect of medicine, you have to know about the whole human body because every part of the body is connected (even way beyond what we can see physically).

You're not totally wrong.. while our core specialization focus more on the head and neck.. you cannot isolate these parts of the body from the rest So as dental students we need to have a thorough understanding of the human body as a whole because they are all connected
AOJ🇬🇧🇳🇬𓃵@aojjustaoj

Met a Dentistry student with a text book as big as the size of my head. In that text, every part of the human body was printed and labelled by dissection and in cross section. The normal me was thinking Dentistry is the study of the teeth and jaw. Then he told me that Dentistry is about the whole human body. How come?
