This was how I ended up having a yahoo mail. During mdcn license registration cmul submitted my exact email but in yahoo rather than Gmail. Everybody got their license except me. I had to create a yahoo mail and till today use it for only mdcn.

@OPEYEMIBAB31192, she should create the 'wrong email' supplied during registration and take charge of it.

@toyinjaz Plus the first wife was beaten, and people were expecting same to happen to her, it's expected that she is ashamed and didn't want to admit that same was done to her.

You dont bring out the most potent weapon in your arsenal at the first provocation. Plus do you think anyone really wants to announce the whole world that they were beaten? Whats not clicking?

If someone allegedly abus3d you so badly that your skin literally changed color, that evidence would’ve been the FIRST thing online during the breakup drama. You expect me to believe you had “career ending evidence” the whole time and kept it hidden until now?

That doesn't change the fact that you can't compare a juggernaut like Prof Wole Soyinka to Gehgeh. I am not belittling Gehgeh, he has his craft and definitely audience who truly appreciate him and we are grateful for a youth like him. But that said, it is rather condescending to compare A Nobel Laureate who put African Literature on the global map and who has been part of policies that have shaped the generation to the latter. I see people mention his role in cultism, etc but we both know that people who are being rude and condescending to Prof Wole are hinging their opinions based on his political stance. Of course, everyone is entitled to their opinions. But for me as a youth, who has seen how Prof Wole Soyinka is an integral part of Nigeria's history, how he has inspired young people like me, his role in human rights activism and more. His name is is interred in the sands of time, The Hall of Fame is name will be Gehgeh's name can't even make the floor pedestal. We can agree to disagree Thanks.

Doc, he actually deserves it. Not everyone defines true greatness by academic and earthly achievements. The anger of anyone doesn’t change the truth, totally useless and we really don’t care how anyone feels cos they don’t care about us and our lives.

I just pray those kids and teacher return safely, this thing you are saying does not make any iota of sense. Failure of government taking security responsibility is what is happening in Oyo state. When a bomb blast happened in bodija that led to loss of properties and the bomb was linked to the illegal mining site in Kishi what did the state government do? Nothing
Niyi Abiri, Ph.D 💻🥃@xniyi

oyo state is now the target for very obvious reasons. it shows the extent of desperation at the core cabal of APC leadership. #chibok.

Feminism is not an ideology with a blanket role. It just a gender advocacy and everyone advocates in their own beliefs and the right granted to women in their place. Muslim feminist is not the same as Christian or atheist feminists and their goals aren’t the same Muslim women accept their place in Islam and their advocacy will be on things that they islamically deserved and were denied or injustices done to them that aren’t acceptable in Islam… but yeah I don’t want the label (feminists) to myself because of the stigma that comes with it that stems from behaviors and beliefs of those that identify with it from other groups, but let’s not takfir Muslimahs that just want the right for women.
Copy Counsel@BenYousef_E

The root of the word 'Muslimah' It comes from the Arabic verb aslama أسلم which means to submit. The noun is Islām إسلام which means submission The subject is Muslim مسلم (masculine) or Muslimah مسلمة (feminine) which means the one who submits (to Allah in worship and obedience) A feminist on the other hand, is the one who challenges Allah's authority to make the decree concerning the difference between a man and a woman. Literally and technically, it's impossible to be a Muslimah and at the same time, a feminist. They are mutually exclusive.

I was at the Abuja National Mosque for Maghrib prayer today, and a baby started crying even before the prayer began. The crying continued throughout the entire prayer until we finished. Honestly, mothers with young children should reconsider bringing them to the mosque if they know the child is likely to cry a lot, because it can be very distracting for other people trying to concentrate in prayer. Since going to the mosque is not compulsory for women. Before you call me names, I’m a mother of 2, so I know what being a mother is.

@Farmexecutive I've only seen the snippet of that line, if you can share a link to the entire presentation, I can say if he adequately covered that aspect. Meanwhile, I generally find it funny when we blame government for everything, like parents having so many children, they can't feed.

LASU RETAINS POSITION AS NIGERIA’S UNIVERSITY OF FIRST CHOICE; EMERGES NATION’S MOST SUBSCRIBED UNIVERSITY IN 2026 JAMB ADMISSION EXERCISE WITH OVER 84,000 APPLICANTS Lagos State University (LASU) has once again reaffirmed its status as Nigeria’s University of First Choice, emerging for the second consecutive year as the most subscribed university in the country for the 2026 admission year, according to the latest Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Application Statistics by Institution released by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). The university recorded an impressive 84,326 first-choice applications, maintaining its position at the summit of the national admission table ahead of two leading federal universities - the University of Lagos, which recorded 78,240 applications, and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, with 60,370 applications, ranking second and third respectively. The remarkable feat was formally announced on Monday, 11th May 2026, during the ongoing 2026 JAMB Policy Meeting on Admissions held in Abuja. LASU’s continued dominance in national subscription statistics reflects the growing confidence of Nigerian students, and parents in the university’s academic excellence, stability, innovation, and student-focused administration. Over the years, the institution has steadily transformed into one of the most sought-after universities in the country through strategic investments in teaching, research, infrastructure, digital innovation, and global competitiveness. The university’s upward trajectory has been particularly noteworthy. From ranking outside the top ten most subscribed universities in Nigeria before 2023, LASU rose to third position in 2023 with over 55,000 applicants, climbed to second position in 2024 with 62,601 applicants, and emerged number one in 2025 with over 70,000 applications. The 2026 record of 84,326 applications further consolidates the institution’s place as one of the fastest-rising universities in Africa. Speaking on the development, the Vice-Chancellor, Distinguished Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, expressed profound appreciation to the Lagos State Government for providing the leadership to keep the university in pride of place. She also praised all stakeholders, particularly staff and students working with her administration to consistently strengthen the university’s reputation nationally and internationally. She noted that the achievement is a strong validation of the administration’s vision to position LASU as a globally competitive institution driven by excellence, innovation, integrity, and impactful scholarship while reaffirming the university’s commitment to sustaining the highest standards in teaching, research, community service, and human capital development. Distinguished Professor Olatunji-Bello further assured prospective students that Lagos State University would continue to provide a conducive academic environment, industry-relevant programmes, and a transformative educational experience capable of preparing graduates for leadership and success in a rapidly evolving global society. Dear Muslims, It is not permissible for a muslim to openly or privately declare hatred for polygyny, because polygyny is something Allah has made lawful in Islam. While it is understandable that many first wives may struggle emotionally with their husbands taking another wife, a muslim must be careful not to condemn what Allah has permitted. At the same time, Islam recognises human emotions and personal limits. Can a muslim man choose not to practice polygyny? Yes. Can a muslim woman prefer monogamy and not want her husband to take another wife? Yes. Can a muslim woman refuse to marry a man who openly intends to practice polygyny? Yes. Can a wife seek divorce if polygyny is severely affecting her emotionally or mentally? According to some scholars, yes. Even the wives of the Prophet ﷺ who are the best of women experienced jealousy among themselves, to the extent that Allah revealed verses addressing some of those situations. So feeling hurt, jealous, or emotionally overwhelmed is part of human nature and should not automatically be condemned. However, there is a difference between struggling with something emotionally and declaring hatred for what Allah has made halal. As muslims, we should not: • Hate polygyny, it is a ruling from Allah. • Hate fellow muslims simply because they practice polygyny. • Speak badly about muslims solely because they choose what Islam has made permissible. No muslim, dead or alive, has the authority to declare forbidden or hateful what Allah has made lawful and permissible. We should be careful as muslims, not to fall in error of hating what Allah made lawful, just because our emotions are up. Lastly, this post is directed to muslims alone.
