Minneapolis▶️Denver: 680 miles. 279 pounds of CO2. Denver▶️Seattle: 1,020 miles. 418 pounds of CO2. Seattle▶️Portland, OR: 145 miles. 59 pounds of CO2. Portland▶️NYC (back to the East Coast!): 2,450 miles. 1,005 pounds of CO2. NYC▶️DC: 225 miles. 92 pounds of CO2. DC▶️LA (and turning around to head back West): 2,300 miles. 943 pounds of CO2. LA▶️SF: 340 miles. 139 pounds of CO2. SF▶️DC (crossing the entire mainland USA one more time): 2,440 miles. 1,000 pounds of CO2. That's 4,318 pounds of CO2. Over two tons of carbon dioxide to celebrate "Earth Month"! Or, in English, that's half a year's emissions for the average person on Earth. That's the same as powering a U.S. home for a quarter of the year. What a mini forest can absorb in an entire year! The fantasy world they live in runs on jet fuel. 4,416 pounds of CO2.
