Reminder that Republic Commando is one of the coolest FPS of all time Actual tragedy the squad/command system hasn't really been used like this again in an FPS, it's so cool man. Not to mention tied with one of the best Star Wars stories imo, Delta Squad is so goated. There's so much potential for this system, could be used for games like HALO ODST, COD or other games, but nobody's really tried this idea again. Also btw this game does an insane job of actually making the droids a scary threat instead of a bunch of goofballs (which I like them like that too lol)

Something I WAS TOLD (40K newbie) is that the famous scene where they kill the psyker could be an act of mercy. In 40k souls are real tangible things that can be killed/erased. If a warp entity posesses you, you could experiment second death. Quickly killing him could free his soul before the entity consumes it. Obviously the way they way they go about it ties into the cold-blooded efficiency of the Astartes (they're neutralizing a potential threat) but I like that there *could* be more to it.
