The Main Event part of the World Riichi Championship is over for me and obviously I’m disappointed to not advance. But it’s a small disappointment compared to the privilege and thrill of the opportunity to play against the world’s best. I feel like I held my own and although there is definitely plenty of room of improvement, I hope I helped show that World Riichi Pros / Hungary / DC Riichi Mahjong are a force to be reckoned with. Huge props to Gemma, Dave and all the Staff for organizing such an awesome and smoothly run event. Good luck to all in the finals, especially Dani and Professor Snape. I’m off to the side event for some fun social play… For everyone who has been cheering me on, Thank You ❤️! It’s been quite a journey and this is just the beginning

A new season of US World Riichi League kicked off last weekend. We had the great opportunity to also stream some of the games live. It’s amazing to see how far the skill level has developed in America over such a short space of time. We can’t wait for a US World Champ!
