🇲🇰 Albanian student protests in North Macedonian have started. The students are protesting to protect the use of the Albanian language as a co-official language of the country.

@AsijaOz98 @kos_data “You do understand Serbian” - Are you mentally ill? Once again, the Serbian language is official only for the 3% of the population who are Serbs; otherwise, the rest of us (Albanians) who make up 94% of the population, are not obligated to speak or learn it.

@tanerrexha @kos_data You do understand Serbian/Serbo-Croatian, it is an official language that is everywhere in Kosovo. All laws, paperwork, road signs and even school work is written in both languages so you obviously do understand the language. You do not respect minorities, but you can pretend.

@tanerrexha @kos_data Taner, hi from Turkey. I think that Ottoman State was of an Albanian state to the fullest as most of the grandviziers were of Albanian origin. No ethnic identity was being promoted and all the groups used to represent themselves and their identities. Where was the occupation?

🇽🇰🇹🇷 Kosovo-based "Albanian Organization" group has condemned the Ottoman-era-themed military parade organized in Prizren. The group said Turkey is a friendly country, but Ottoman symbols are seen as a provocation and insult, linked to "occupation, enslavement and the obstruction of Albanian national development for centuries." It called on Turkey to refrain from organizing such events in Kosovo.
