@CBSNews The bit about other parts of the world suffering more than USA is true, USA gas prices are very cheap compared to most countries, USA I'm guessing don't have very fuel efficient vehicles on average and are more reliant on them to get around, so they need it super cheap

When asked about high gas prices nationwide amid the ongoing war with Iran, Secretary Marco Rubio said the rise is “obviously being driven by global events,” but argues the U.S. is “more insulated than other countries” as a major energy exporter. “If Iran had a nuclear weapon, and they decided to close the straits and make our gas prices like $9 a gallon or $8 a gallon, we wouldn't be able to do anything about it because they have a nuclear weapon,” Rubio said.

Jeering and heckling at an Anzac Day service scrapes the depths of the gutter. It is disgusting, grossly offensive, beneath contempt, an insult to the living and the dead.

@NonIndutiae @MikeCarlton01 What's the deal with welcome to country? Do people even understand what it means? Only people I've seen that don't like it don't understand what it means or are simply racist!

@wpbencic @Batman2242 Thanks for agreeing with me. This is my point also, they don't have time, hence the battery swap system which is much faster than even putting fuel in. This way you can charge the batteries as slow as you want.

@tarzan0741 @Batman2242 Trickle charge seriously? Just how much time do you think heavy haulage operators have? You speak just like someone with a lot of theory but no practical experience,a EV vehicle can be charged of a 10Amp household plug, if one has a spare 20/30 hours!

My friends in the Farrer electorate, how are things looking for the by-election fast approaching? Two horse race, yes, with the Indie a favourite up against the One Notion candidate? Amazing to me that the incumbent Libs should be 16-1 long-shots! #Auspol

@wpbencic @Batman2242 Literally nobody would use quick charging for a road train, use trickle charging and charge batteries as slow as you want using our abundant wind and solar. Electric trucks already in use, just swap out battery, and you are on your way again. Google it mate!!

I suspect it’s got to do with their social policies advocating for the sexualisation of children, their demonisation of western culture and lack of regard for the ecological disaster of the renewable energy roll out - as well as their religious bigotry and the inherent racism (while projecting their fascism against their opponents).

Question: Why do you think the Australian Greens can't seem to bust out of the 10-14% range of the vote? Hostile media? Too beuigose? Their candidates? Their messaging? Their Their name? Is Australia just innately pro-war, pro-racism, pro-fossil fuels? The party seems stuck.

@DaveMilbo Greens vote has consistently gone up every election for the last 20 years, I expect it to be up as high as 15-20% in about 15 years based on current growth.

Donald Trump, at almost 80, is going to die sooner than we think. Bookmark this. When Trump passes, there will be an absolute ORGY of grotesque delight on the Left and even among moderates. They will celebrate in the streets and hold parties. It will be a macabre display, such as we've never seen yet. It will make their celebration of Charlie Kirk's murder look like your great aunt Mildred's church tea party. Mark my words.
