#Pray: Wankeyi and Mary Mahiaini lead St Julian’s Anglican Training Centre in Kenya as it trains gospel workers for the Anglican Church in Kenya. Wanyeki and Mary are retiring this December – pray for a good handover with those who will teach their classes in the future.

@MrAshCunningham Yes it’s a terrible analogy but. My year abroad in Russia was during an economic crisis when every bank/atm/bank card shut & I & everyone around me had absolutely no access to money at all. You have no idea how terrifying that is, the threat of complete collapse of everything.

On reflection, perhaps it is entirely apt, and this is just culture telling on itself.

@BriWhittaker Hope you’re able to get it sorted soon! When I went for my booster I took a printout of my vaccination record from the GP which was helpful as they queried it again despite my having a booked appointment because again it wasn’t on my record.

@tasharayan I spoke to my surgery but because I had the first two in Wales they had no record and even tho I’ve sent them my vaccination card it still isn’t updated. I’m sure it’ll get fixed at some stage but so frustrating!

Can’t book my booster because the website mistakenly thinks I haven’t had my second dose…. 🤦🏼‍♂️

@BriWhittaker 119 tell me only GP surgery can fix it and GP says as far as they’re concerned my record is correct and I should speak to 119.

@BriWhittaker I’ve had that with both my 2nd dose and booster. It’s a complete pain & not sorted yet but - your gp surgery can help you book so long as your record there is correct (mine is but I had to take my vaccine card in after my 2nd dose to show them)
