Women’s football in England is growing faster than ever. There’s a lot of discussion around the FA’s proposed changes to the Women’s National League structure for 2027/28. Some important questions need asking about what this means for clubs across the pyramid. Thread 🧵

How about we encourage WSL clubs to trust the Tier 3 environments more with the few WSL academy players who are able to make the step up ? Are we here to fight for promotion to Elite football or facilitate/ produce a platform for Elite players from WSL to develop ?
