@sfzombie13 He already has a copy of 451. Not sure if/when he read it though. Nope, neither of the warrior series or redwall. Lots of other books but not those. We do not currently have physical copies. But I will add them to the list.

@tatanus fahrenheit 451 next? it's a lot closer to the situation. has he ever read the warrior series about the cats or the redwall series about all the animals? those got my son hooked.

I am so happy my sons love to read. I just handed my oldest son my copy of 1984 for him to read.

If you plan on celebrating tonight, be careful out there. If you set off fireworks, try to keep all your fingers. If you drink, don't drink and drive. But by all means, enjoy yourself. You survived 2025.

First time I have had time to talk to a phone/email phish attempt in a long time. It was actually pretty smooth. They were pretending to be Coinbase saying that they see "bad" activity on my account. When I finally called him out on it, he asked how good was the attempt. LOL

To all who mark the Solstice, may the longest night give way to renewed light. And to those who do not, may the season still bring calm, warmth, and good things ahead.

Why do so many doctors/therapists/etc for school aged children want to schedule appointments during the school day? If you are working with children try to keep the fact that they are probably in school in mind...

@sfzombie13 thank you. i have tried the first two already and i can get the results about 80% of the way to my desired result. I have not tried chafa yet.

@tatanus 3 that gabe came up with. aha + wkhtmltoimage, ansifilter + convert, and chafa. that was something ai is really good at, researching for me quickly. gabe is cool, most of the time.

Looking for a commandline solution (linux/ubuntu/macos) that allows me to convert text (possibly containing ansi colors) into a png. Needs to be headless and no gui requirements. I want it to maintain columns/formatting. Suggestions?

So, my personal blog that I hardly ever update is now flagged as unsafe by @Google . I am not sure what happened to cause this or how to go about getting it resolved. Thoughts?

@dayna12121 @Google That might work if the domain was one i had verified to monitor. But now @squarespace has the domain suspended and i do not think i can make the necessary DNS adjustments to get it monitored/associated with my account on Google. thank you anyways

@tatanus @Google Happens a lot. Check Search Console → Security Issues. Once fixed, you can request a review to clear the flag. 👍

@tatanus @Google That happened to me a few years ago. Turned out the host I was using had an outdated Wordpress plugin with a vuln and I was serving up malware. Started managing my own after that. When I clicked on the unsafe message, it gave me more details. Is yours not?
