@1999CampNou @TomCollomosse Still stands. It wouldn’t be possible for this to happen anymore. United were able to do this with unrestricted spending and consistently investing big (for the time). Clubs are not allowed to do this. If they do then they are restricted for future years. Uneven playing field.

@1999CampNou @TomCollomosse You spent over £200m on 4 players last summer and do this pretty much every summer. No other clubs who have been as bad as Man U over the last 15 years can do this. Only the ones given the leg up by the PL during the boom years before changing the rules.

But because it hasn't been better than those clubs in the last 10 years, now it's suffering consequences

@EFCHistVer2 @bet365 It’s close I’ll admit, but not quite. 2 fewer league titles but 2 more FA Cups, 5 more League Cups and a European Cup. To go with the fact we created the football league, have one of the most iconic stadiums and a number of clubs who wear our colours in homage to our club. 👍

@tavfcuk @talkSPORT My guy, you included “founding club” and “lead city”. They do, but unfortunately over half are back then. You can tell fans of smaller clubs straight away because they always say “Sky selected them” or “PL likes them”.
