The “OG” ghost of the northern Sabi Sand: Gijima Emerging in 2016, Gijima became the enigma of the north, with the full extent of his territory never quite clear. He bordered Tingana to the north, & believed to be the father of Luna.

@Heart_of_Dixie4 @MichaeFleetwood He was so illusive, we barely saw him. He would hear the words, LIVE LIVE, and then run away 😂 everyone talks about Molwati being the ghost but Gijima was on another level. He spent a lot of time on Torchwood/Buffelshoek and the north eastern parts of Djuma.

@MichaeFleetwood @tay_mccurdy Does any one have any idea of when he might have passed. It's almost like he was mentioned quite frequently on drive and then not mentioned at all. Now, I may have missed it, but I don't remember there being any mention of him possibly passing away whenever he did.

I disagree with Amy, this lion does not look good, he is under nourished and I suspect small for his age due to the fact he and his siblings are rarely able to get enough to eat. And I might add it was completely unnecessary for Amy to switch to dash cam mid sighting #WildEarth

@susmeds71 I can go on and on! ‘Not good hunters’ tell that to the real non-captive bred white lions in the greater Kruger 😉 It’s so so easy to get ‘sucked’ in. Places like this are misleading the public, not conservation 😢
