I see lots of people are blaming Skinner for last night’s loss. He didn’t play well. But they got their asses completely kicked all night by a better team that was far more invested in the result. And that’s ok. It happens. I don’t know how there is any other way to look at it

@MarkKaboly Will that really be that much different? They aren’t winning a SB either way and sure they’ll be a fringe playoff team with Rodgers vs the other two, but won’t get them where they need to be. They’re stuck in a rut.

Kirk Cousins to the Raiders just removed the Steelers potential backup plan in case Aaron Rodgers doesn't re-sign with them. If, for some unforeseen reason, Rodgers doesn't return to the Steelers, it's going to be Will Howard/Mason Rudolph fighting for QB1.

@BornOnThirdCubs There were a lot if balls called strikes in the game. The DR pitcher benefitted from them too. Maybe if he hadn’t the score would’ve been 5-1. Maybe if DR scores more than 1 run they win. 🤷🏻♂️

The home plate umpire was absolutely horrific all night, this being the worst…
You can’t end the game like that. You just can’t. Way too big of a moment for it to go down on this horrible strike 3 call.

One thing I don't wanna hear about this pitch is that it was "too close to take." You can't just transform your *CORRECT* understanding of the strike zone in an instant (against Mason Miller, lol) because you fear the ump may get it wrong. That's absurd.

@PaulZeise Asinine is an excellent word. We’ve lost the thread to the fact sports are fun and competitive and what it’s about and you should take every opportunity in college to do it no matter if it’s the main tourney or NIT. It’s an experience most of these guys will never get again.
