@Joe_brendan_ Application trends depend heavily on the role. You’ll see more women in admin, HR, VA, customer roles, but switch to tech, field ops, or certain sales roles and you’ll find plenty of men applying. IMHO, young men grind as much as the women.

Many Nigerian young men are losing it. This will bite in 10 years Ask anyone who is hiring or who has a business that hires, Nigerian young women are the most cracked these days Put out a Job opening and in 5 hours its 80% women applying and 20% men applying The young men in Nigeria think they can ignore the build process into a GLE, GLK life sustainably. I guess all the "women are the spark" "Feminine Power" seminars from 15 - 20 years ago is beginning to pay off because the focus young women bring to the table these days is exceptional Yes there are still many young men thriving and striving to build but the percentage that's pushing for fast money is alarming. - Young man finishes university. Refuses to start a job because "how long 150k salary go buy GLE" - Young man shuns entry level experience and starts doing betting or fraud or "Forex" - Young girl starts working after university regardless - 10 years later, One has 10 solid years experience and can lead in the industry while the other is still GLEing

@olohunjuedani @Unabombaar Correct. Tunde has every right to support and vote for any political party he chooses. Most of those bashing Tunde all support the same candidate and they believe everyone must support their own candidate.

Tunde Onakoya’s Chess in Slums initiative gets a lot of attention, but I’m not fully convinced about its long-term, measurable impact. Meanwhile, someone like Alex Onyia is building structured academic pathways through math Olympiad programs in the East, which directly develop skills that can translate into educational and career opportunities. The system built by Alex Onyia helped bring attention to issues raised around JAMB results and pushed the scrutiny of reported inconsistencies against the South East. He is part of the reason why the South East is No. 1 in education today. To me, real impact isn't about optics or social media moments. it is about creating systems that consistently move people forward, especially in education and capacity building. That’s the kind of model I find more compelling. If an initiative can’t point to sustained educational or economic outcomes, then it risks being more symbolic than substantive. What has Tunde Onakoya’s Chess in the slum initiative actually done for education in the southwest? Nothing.

@solapex @grok @akinolarr @taiwoyedele @DonAzag Oh, you meant the label on the page that shows ’Current Tax (2024)’. We’ve had the calculator up for months; that’s why it was showing this. It will be renamed correctly shortly. Thank you.
