It is a gift from God to nature and to all who behold it, a stunning declaration that after the storm comes light, hope, and the unchanging promises of the Almighty. @DaveCrance @BobbyScott The only thing raising the min wage does is throw people out of work. The gains are absorbed by inflation. It's essentially printing money.

Honestly it’s a smart move for the government. Helps certain businesses too - if they adapt. For the government it’s a big Win - they get more tax revenue off the surviving employees, off the sales tax with inflation, the property tax with inflation, etc etc and technically the value of their debt goes down. The only looser is the employee who looses the job or the one who gets a raise just to pay more in taxes, more for food, more for gas, rent, utilities, etc.etc. They know what they’re doing to the people with this stuff. It just takes us a while to admit it’s just evil greed vs stupidity. We don’t want to accept that its intentional because most of us are good people.

Glad to see Virginia taking action. Raising the minimum wage is good for workers, good for business, and good for the economy.
