Used to break the tangerines in pieces and spread them on the plate in shapes and layer the toast halves to make it feel like a real breakfast. Poor lady - I feel for her grief, I don't get using it to justify creating more widows and widowers in another useless war that only benefits the pockets of the elite. Decades spent and so many brave lives lost to make Iraq umm Iraq, and to take Afghanistan from the Taliban to give it to........... the Taliban. At some point all of us need to just say enough.

Gold Star wife here. When ISIS killed your wife, you supported going after the people responsible. You understood exactly why we were fighting and never called it “Israel’s war.” My husband, Alan, was killed by Iranian proxies in Iraq. And now, after decades, the fight is finally leading back to the number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world. You understood it when it was your loss. Now you’re minimizing it when it’s mine. You don’t get to redefine this war just because it’s not your grief anymore.

Libertarians don’t run for money or fame - we know what the odds are. If we could be bought we’d be running as democrats or republicans. By default we run for freedom and the future at our personal expense. You can rest assured aipac and Israel isn’t buying Libertarians. They know we can’t be bought by default. I will agree they pay the republicans who pretend to be Libertarians.

Every candidate that takes money from AIPAC must be voted out. Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, all of them!

Because deep down, buried, they know they are Libertarians - they would like to be free and honest. The problem is they need the group think of the GoP to feel validated and worthy. So they bow their heads and follow the herd, whereas true Libertarians don't give a damn what others think. To them it must be like a pet dog that watches the wolf wander by outside the fence free as can be.
