This is my second conversation with @JoshuaKushner. Josh started Thrive in 2011 and the firm now manages ~$50 billion. we hosted our first @typecapital founder event of the year on friday. it was a breakfast (are we tired of dinners yet?) in nyc, in partnership with @rhobusiness. the conversation focused on why the venture path can feel especially brutal today, and how founders can protect their agency. our next founder hang is in SF in march, focusing on technical founders + CTOs. the fact that breaking bread with people doing their life’s work is my job still feels surreal. pinch meeeee (ty @theesabina for attending and for the pic!!)
