It's a poor candidate. Harris was trash, and she only got the voters that were going to vote for a broomstick over Trump anyhow. If Democrats actually had a primary where someone organically won the nomination, and they didn't constantly circumvent the Democratic process to install their leadership picks then they would likely grab enough of that group to trounce the GOP.
