ICYMI: Asylum applicants are skipping court at an unprecedented level--Data from the @TheJusticeDept shows a jump from from 4,183 last year to a whopping 8,007 for the first half of this year:  justice.gov/eoir/media/134… This really tells the story that many of these individuals had false asylum claims and just wanted to come here to work. Under the first two years of the previous administration you would have been hard-pressed to find someone who would have admitted they were just here to work—Then they realized they didn’t need legitimate asylum claims… They started freely telling us reporting at the border that they wanted to work and that “America needs workers.”  They still claimed asylum when it came time.
