In the book “They Were Her Property” by Stephanie Jones-Rogers it is explained that 40 % of the slave owners were white women, often times more cruel than their male counterparts especially towards black enslaved women.

For a lot of black and other men of color, misogyny will often trump racial pride. Misogyny is often what helps many soothe their inferiority complex because it’s a power we can always wield against women, particularly when we don’t get our way with them. The incel jumped out.
