Ok... So #humberto is more likely NOT to threaten the USA and go west of Bermuda, but given the unknown outcome of the future #94L (imelda) and how and when it interacts with it, leaves us with a little wiggle room especially for Bermuda. On to 94L: Lots of atmospherics to factor in here including ones that steer and others that aid or inhibit development. Topography is the initial inhibiting factor. Then we won't know where the low actually will develop into the Turks and Bahamas, but that seems to be where guidance wants it to happen this weekend. Expect lots of unsettled weather there with a developing system. Then the question is: where does it go. Lots of spread in the guidance with it either coming in to the southeast coast or getting close enough then heading out. Hopefully this gets more clear in the coming days. The other issue is how strong is it going to be... Some of the hurricane models blow it up. Global guidance not as much. Regardless this will be an early next week situation for any potential landfall or not. Still much to unravel here.
