At our away fixture at @EpsomEwellFC there will be a bucket collection in support of the young family of Stuart Tree. Stuart was a true @CorinthianCas stalwart, someone who gave so much of his time and energy behind the scenes and a well-known, respected figure across the non-league game.
If you’re travelling, please consider bringing some change and giving what you can. Every contribution will go towards supporting his young family during this difficult time.
Football is more than what happens on the pitch. It’s about community, and moments like this remind us of that.

@CorinthianCas Well done that's some difference between top and second,
Be a lot better for you next season if you're going to go up to the premier all the best 👏👏

STUART TREE: 1979 - 2026
It is with deep sadness that we bring you the news that Stuart Tree passed away suddenly this morning, at the age of 46.
Stuart was, to many, the soul of Corinthian-Casuals Football Club in the modern era. His passion, energy and stunningly talented creative mind transformed the club’s image and his friendly nature meant that all newcomers were made to feel welcome by him.
His photography brought the world of non-league world vividly to life, capturing its very essence, and his dedication to Casuals has ensured that our story is known the world over thanks to his pioneering use of social media in its early days.
More than anything, he is a friend to everyone at the club and so many in Tolworth, Surbiton and the surrounding area. A true gentle giant, he stood 6ft 8in tall but was entirely unintimidating, a warm-hearted figure who brought people together and came to be a pillar of our club and community.
This place will quite simply not be the same without him.

BRIAN WAKEFIELD: 1934 - 2026
All at Corinthian-Casuals were devastated to hear that Brian Wakefield has passed away at the age of 91.
Brian was a towering figure in the club’s history, whose association with us goes back to 1959, when he first joined as a goalkeeper. He later played for the Schools XI, which he subsequently ran for many decades, alongside a highly successful Veterans team.
He also had a spell as our first-team manager for two seasons from 1979, and served as Club Secretary between 1993 and 2004.
Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

@casuals30261 Yes definitely should be taking players from the development team regardless, I lost 3 players when I was doing it in one game probably lost us the league title but it kept the 1st team up so had to except it ⚽
English

Good performance today battled so well. Goal of the season from Maia. This is why you have 5 subs not 3 played 10 men for last 10 mins due to Arseni injury. I know dev team are in title race but first team comes before anything surely that’s the whole point of having a dev team.
Corinthian-Casuals@CorinthianCas
A late penalty denies us a point on the road after goals from Rafael Barbosa and Patrick Maia had twice pulled us level.
English

@Murphs008 If they had put a cross into the box when had the opportunity instead of going sideways and loosing the ball, might have been different 🫣🫣
English

@EandERich @CorinthianCas @redhillfc @ComCoFL But why did you have teams playing each other twice so quickly at the beginning of the season, I know it's a hard job through experience but bit of thought makes it a lot easier and clubs wouldn't moan so much 🤞😀
English
@tdo1o @CorinthianCas @redhillfc @ComCoFL For every tweet like this, there are others saying there should be more midweek fixtures in Aug and Sept!
It's impossible to keep everyone happy.

NEXT UP
Believe it or not, this is our last Saturday home game of the season, with @redhillfc coming to Tolworth. Let's get a good crowd down to the Armada and get behind the lads as we look to finish the season strong.
Come on Casuals! 🩷🤎

@KimHarr88965701 @KingstonianFC @KsOllieU That pitch wasn't good 30 years ago so how you doing a ground share and expect to play on it every week is madness, yeah been a terrible 3 months of weather that doesn't help but every week...🤔
English

@KingstonianFC @KsOllieU This text is in no way, having a pop at RPV they’re just as upset as us.
English

@henrywinter Give either a penalty if on the attacking side or free kick on the defensive side soon stop it, anywhere else on the pitch it's a free kick for holding so why not the penalty area 🤔
English

The grappling at corners has become a joke. When James swung his corner over for Chelsea’s goal, there was Timber holding Chalobah, Rice on Hato, Trossard on Andrey Santos, Saliba on Joao Pedro, Gabriel on Enzo, Zubimendi on Sarr. It happens to Arsenal, too, of course. This is simply one snapshot of a broader problem that officials seem to have given up on policing. Perhaps because it’s so pervasive. The six-yard box has become a mosh-pit. #ARSCHE
English

@RefereeHalsey all this pushing and shoving in the box why don't refs just give 1) penalty or 2) Free kick, anywhere else on the field and it's given 🤔
English

@casuals30261 What good would that do now, no manager going to make any difference for this season,
Very unlikely to get play offs
English

@Jiggz7770 @Corballyred VVD wouldn't last in the John Terry days don't like the physical stuff forwards had then , today there just quick
English

@Corballyred VVD has everything in his game
JT didn’t have the passing range

@Barn_CF Then why didn't you knock out the prick ,it's your daughter at the end of the day.
I get it you don't want to do things in front of her, but certain situations you have to act
English

Wasn’t going to put this on here but fuck it. Traveled up North today with my daughters, stopped somewhere outside Tamworth to get a coffee this afternoon. My 14 year old has gone in to the shop whilst I sorted the car, no more than 30ft from where I was. She comes back to the car a few minutes later frightened and upset. Some foreign invader cunt has approached her as she came out the shop asking how old she is and telling her how beautiful she is etc. Again, she is 14. Headloss ensues obviously. Invader cunt is gripped up and forced to apologies and promise he will never approach any young girls ever again, completely peacefully of course officer. But what would have happened if I wasn’t there? Why should she have had to be made to feel that way? Why do the bleeding heart liberals care more for foreign men than our own teenage girls? It’s like we’re living in the fucking twilight zone, absolutely nothing makes sense any more in this this country & it’s either going to put me in an early grave or prison unless something changes
English

@Mrjamieohara1 They want to have a re think of the medical team amount of injuries they get 🤔
