Here are the two books I am currently bouncing between. What are you reading at the moment?
Have any of you done ‘The Artist’s Way’?

Went to see this today. Daughter and I were the only ones in the cinema… slight differences to the book but still worth watching 🙌🏽❤️🙌🏽 #KensukesKingdom
Rani Tiwana@fidsta77
Started reading this one with my year 5 bubble today. Forgotten how awesome it is but I was today years old when I heard the correct pronunciation of Kensuke 🤦♀️

@DeputyGrocott This is always controversial but as a proud Cornish woman it is obviously jam and then cornish clotted cream. But butter on its own is good and therefore neutral:)

@BBCr4today @frankcottrell_b @CressidaCowell Also recommend The Wrong Shoes by Tom Percival. Great book for y5!
English

@BBCr4today @frankcottrell_b @CressidaCowell Love the boy at the back of the class and holes. Y5 teacher who teaches both !

@secretHT1 I have seen this many a time but do not know what it stands for/ means ....
English

@englishspecial Agree it works for most but worried that for those who find it so hard to form letters that interventions put them off more.
English

@englishspecial Agree but my son had every intervention for handwriting from y2 to 7 and had a primary school teacher for a mum. It works for the majority of children but not for those who have problems forming letters. My son has ended up doing his gcse online and will probably get 9 in all.
English

Handwriting - should we be intervening?
Not only yes, but it makes them enjoy school again!
Delighted to publish this powerful research last month on the benefits of handwriting intervention.

English

@teachingmatter Yes that will be based on having read those chapters

As we reach the end of the academic year, I'm sharing (for free) my folder of Whole Class Reading lessons I've taught across the year. There's multiple full books as we study these 2 x a week and then plenty linked to wider curriculum so science/hist etc
