My 3rd graders learned about energy and attempted to make electrical circuits today. Thank you to @PetroleumMuseum, @Connect2Texas and @ovintiv for providing this excellent, free program for students in Texas.

5/? I never would have known if I hadn't worn the shirt. I've got a flag up in the room too, but the shirt is more in-your-face. It's not hard to take steps to make every student (and staff member) feel accepted and seen as who they are.

STORY TIME My union had these shirts made up. They say "We Support Our LGBTQ+ Students". I wore mine to school today. Aside from having to tell a few kids what it said there were no questions or comments about it. Until 1/?
