@JaneyGodley She brought us so much joy in some of darkest times we’ve faced. She was a woman who wouldn’t shut up and I will try to think ‘what would Janey do?’. Much love to you, her family and many friends who will feel her loss keenly.

Earlier this morning Janey passed away in her sleep. Her family were with her. The love and support from all her friends and fans during this cancer journey brought her enormous joy. It has also been a huge comfort to us, her family and close friends, thank you.

I have written an article for @thetimes in response to the new draft menopause guidelines from NICE. They are a step backwards for women. CBT may have a place when taking a holistic approach to managing the perimenopause, but it won’t improve every menopause symptom and won’t treat the underlying hormone deficiency. Women deserve to have a choice and if they want to take HRT they should be allowed to. It is about time women are heard and their symptoms and future health is taken seriously.
