I won't belabor the point that online dissidents don't read, or often confuse podcasts and YT streams for reading; just that they only receive the dissident revisionist polemics and are under the impression that the academy has never encountered such arguments (they have).

@jinzaburomasaki A famous Civil War book is The Impending Crisis by David Potter, published 1976. This book addressed and offers cogent rebuttals of many arguments that modern dissident history guys often insist are never addressed in mainstream academia.
