No online, maybe one day we will step into that world but for now we are definitely sticking with single player games. The idea of something zombie related would be pretty awesome, I could see trying something like that in the future 😇 For now though, sci-fi is where CV and UV land 😇 but ya never know where we may go in the future 😇

@TeamKillMedia Hmmmm! Is this going to have a story mode with online? And why not do something besides sci fi bros? Step into a zombie third person game or an agent in Brooklyn or Miami or Los Angeles that can melee combat and for anything I’m ya boy!

As far as what I can talk about, we have already moved to the next version of the engine, UE5.7, CV was made on 5.5 and then moved to 5.6 and there are a massive amount of improvements in 5.7 vs 5.6. Code Ultraviolet is going to take place in an open world map that connects all the majors parts of the game together so, things like the new Nanite voxel foliage will be used. Right now, we are getting all the fundamentals in place; Violet will be more mobile and gameplay will be more aggressive, more enemies, more enemies types, returning similar weapons and new ones 😇 We are testing and experimenting with a lot of different things, one being vehicle driving for the change to the open world style map. We are hoping to have something to show by this summer if all goes smoothly 😎 This new installment is going to be massive and more intense 😎 In the meantime, anyone who has things they’d like to see or feedback for this next game, let us know 😇 we take everything into consideration 🤩

@TeamKillMedia I have a question...how you new project is going and after having success with code violet....will you increase on staff? What technology you want to invest for new project and what you want to improve and bring those new to the new project??? I know is alot 🫣🫡

@TeamKillMedia just wanted to show u guys my platinum trophy can’t wait for part two I’m I like the new gauntlet mode I finished it on easy but didn’t get enough points to unlock ammo, etc but its great practice! When two T. rex spawned the first time I freaked out lol 😂

@dmg_amanda 😇😇😇 We are definitely looking into that… our inventory currently only saves what you have and then reloads it into the inventory so, we will have to find a way to save the specific location of the items when loading it.

@TeamKillMedia So excited to hear there will be a follow up. Really enjoyed game. Minor ask - when i save & exit game then go back in, my storage on Violet changes from how i had it set to its own version. It would be good if once i have it sorted to how i want it if it stays that way 💜

This update was primarily enemy performance and the new mode, there were some other small tweaks made as well. I believe currently the brightness setting is applied after using the setting in the menu but does not apply if you are starting the game without entering the setting in the menu, we will be looking into getting it to apply by default from the saved settings.

@TeamKillMedia In ultra violet have violet repair a cable car network that can be a fast travel system thru the world and slow mo on perfect dodge also a mite store where we could buy and sell treasures and do task kinda like re4 maybe a quirky vendor

@ItchyButRash We used Unreal Engine’s built in TSR for CV. Depending on how things fit the project we will definitely be looking into it being used for the next game but it all depends.

2 other things we are upgrading: We are also moving our entire material pipeline to using the new Substrate material system in UE5.7 which is just mind blowing on the things you can do with materials. Even the way light interacts with it is superior to the previous PBR material system 😎 And we will be using Wwise for all audio in this next game which will allow us to greatly improve our audio on all levels 😇
