The problem with a lot of things like this is now isn’t the time to try MLS in midfield. I definitely think he could do it, and could’ve done it this season at times. But now isn’t the time to find out.

Halftime and we’re just about okay. At the moment this looks like a broken team white-knuckling their way through this game. No belief. No quality. Just enough application. Hopefully enough to see us through. The only thing that fixes this short term is getting players back.

Rhythm of this game pretty much identical to the Carabao Cup Final. Chelsea start well, game evens out, City get a little on top before HT without creating much, then they bury the game in the first 15 minutes of the second half.
