Pharmacists: as medication experts, we should be able to assess the safety of ALL drug combinations our patients may be taking. @teamtripsit’s chart can be found at wiki.tripsit.me/wiki/Drug_comb…

This drug interaction guide by @teamtripsit is my go - to resource for brief interventions. So simple, and user friendly. Ideal for poly substance users like my clients who typically use 4++

A massive thanks to @teamtripsit and @GBMC73 (with his fab Harm Reduction Union peers in Middlesbrough) for their help in getting this booklet looking good and for the extra tips to help make it as relevant to people who take drugs as possible.

@_DF42 @WeAreTheLoopUK Excellent points! I think it may have particular applicability for people who are more 'sharing' their drugs, & with drug classes where profit isn't main motive (psychedelics for example)

@teamtripsit @WeAreTheLoopUK 4/n My other thought is around the ability of a dealer to not sell on, even if they know the batch is over-adulterated / bad, given their personal financial investment or that of those above them in the chain who need to see a return

With recent tragic festival casualties & increasing distribution of extremely potent pills, public starts to see the necessity of testing w/ @WeAreTheLoopUK & co. Perhaps we should also be thinking about targeting drug producers and distributors with harm reduction information.

Two young people died at a Hampshire rave this weekend after taking pills. A handful of festivals already offer punters the chance to test illegal drugs they've bought for purity but there are no plans to roll this out nationwide. Time for a rethink? #wrightstuff

Before 25x were widely known, the rule of thumb was that any drug on a blotter was LSD. A harm reduction intervention aimed at the people *distributing* these drugs to dispell that belief could have had a large impact.

A clear example here is the spate of deaths and injuries caused by 25x drugs being sold as LSD a few years ago - particularly in the psychedelic scene, people buy from friends and the primary motivation is not profit.

While frequently vilified, it stands to reason that drug dealers (who can often simply be friends and friends of friends) do not wish to kill or harm the users of drugs. This speaks to a lack of knowledge, and so a gap which needs to be filled in available HR resources.
