I believe Conroy said he had heard tremendous things about Strome when they looked to acquire him.
It's absolutely awesome when what is essentially a cap move can come in and mentor young players.

The way Strome has fit into the #Flames locker-room is incredible. Seamless. You'd swear he's been here for years! He's incredibly vocal with Parekh and the other young players and wants them to build a rapport with the officials. Terrific leadership.

One thing to keep in mind is that the #Flames have one of the most difficult remaining schedules
They go on a 6 game road trip where they are terrible
They play Colorado (x3), Dallas, Vegas (where they have struggled), Anaheim, Utah
They are going to lose a bunch of these
