I don't know if I'll ever get over the student eval that said my wearing linen pants that wrinkled over the course of the day evidenced my lack of commitment to professionalism and was a sign I couldn't teach. Remember it every semester I set up the end of semester evaluation!

I've got my beit din scheduled for early March and y'all, I am excited *and* super nervous!

My child is currently obsessed with Kaiju monsters. So now my evenings are spent checking wikipedia for the release order of the Godzilla movies because heaven forbid we watch them out of order.

The non-librarian library worker erasure is real. ALL library workers, from custodians to shelvers to clerks to IT to maintenance, should have living wages. The professional organization that is supposed to advocate for us doesn’t even care we help keep libraries going.
