All right, so I am strengthening my canola thesis that it’s about to moonshot. 🚀 I couldn’t figure out why the Vancouver terminal only stocked 1,000 extra MT in Week 24 when China just bought 650,000 MT of Canola until I looked at capacity. The Vancouver grain terminal is 95% full, they only had 43k MT of grain storage left. They can’t fill the canola orders even if they wanted to. They will have to load canola in real time. Which means they will need to rely on the primary elevators filling up to take the pressure off the terminal. The crushers are also buying more from the primary elevators this year. An additional 15.8% of canola by the crushers is bought from the elevators because producers are holding back inventory. There is no way out of this. There needs to be panic buying setting in now. Vancouver needs 12 ships just dedicated to canola to fill Chinas order, they load 10-11 per week.

@buperac It’s nuts out there man. I assistant coach a U11 team, we have a team from a community between Ponoka and Wetaskwin in the league. Generally the kids are good and play fair but the parents are a different story. It’s all sorts of crazy in the stands.

Was coaching U-13 and a scrum happened in front of the net, kids roughed eachother up a bit, no penalties. An opposing team parent looked at me, made the #22 with two fingers on each hand and then proceeded to drag his thumb across his throat. Watching a grown ass man threaten a 12 year old seemed all kinds of fucked up.

Got the new Starlink Mini — you'd have to be brain dead not to see this works great anywhere you use it. Anything Canadian-made isn't even in the same ballpark. It works perfectly in places you need Wi-Fi short term or at the lake or on a tractor and isn't expensive per month. The router is built into the plug-in part.
