But as a business, idk why anyone would hire a snr position to a junior lol Then again, Devops is mainly pushing buttons, a lot of devs don’t respect the role cos they don’t do much. Historically, Devop roles are usually given to ex engineers cos they get tired of coding. That’s why there are so few devOp bootcamps out there and even less jr roles

Pick a niche… DevOps Cyber security Data engineering Data science This is way more effective to break in rather than competing with 1000’s of CS grads that have 3 years of coding on you. Not to mention CS grads really to struggle to land jobs themselves in this market

Getting into software engineering is a bad idea in this current market. In fact it’s borderline foolish if you come from a completely non-technical background and want to land a role in the UK. Learning HTML, CSS and SQL just to compete with computer science grads… Bad idea‼️

Marketing strategies online are getting more manipulative by the day🤦🏾‍♂️ “How I made a million in revenue…” A business can generate a mill rev but <100k profit Sadly I’ve met a lot of these guys and they are broke😩 A lot of financially illiterate people can fall for it🤷🏽‍♂️

Differentiating from the fake and real is getting harder by the day… The scammers are confident to come online and lie. The ones that are legit are apprehensive to push their services or make bold statements despite it being true. The games the game

Always try learn from the best rather than those that have a struggle story. Often people’s struggle stories are a source of comfort for your current failures. Doesn’t matter if you’re learning from a private school kid or someone from an estate. SEEK VALUE!

Me: What about those earning the average 30k? How do they survive?? We can really get out of touch with reality. Everyone else’s response was “I don’t know how they live” but with an undertone of “it’s not really my problem”. Always be surrounded by those that ground you 👌🏾
