I don't hate muslims. But Islam isn't compatible with Christianity. I don't hate jewish people. But I do have a bit of an issue with how their government is operating. I don't hate immigrants. But I do think they should come here legally and assimilate.

We must not let the actions of the few destroy our semblance of peace. UK is in a fever pitch right now, and has become very tribal. Most people dont want this to happen.

@technomancer87 @Holliatti It's not that it supersedes. These are religious laws, and I guess they become laws of the state if the state is a theocracy. This was the case in Islamic states. Western countries are not theocracies, and neither are many Muslim-majority states.

@TaherFromSyria @Holliatti Fair example. But my understanding of Sharia law, is that it supercedes laws of the land in western countries and are ongoing RIGHT NOW. not centuries ago. From a non religious perspective, this is the "incompatibility" OP referred to. Obviously with Christans...

@TaherFromSyria @Holliatti An example would be great. Now, I dont expect you to know laws from places that you've never been, but just a cursory glance at EU and maybe even US laws, this may be a false. At least none so egregious as, say, honor killings or how to treat "infadels."

@TaherFromSyria @Holliatti I am taking what she means by this is that the Theological islamic law isn't compatible with the system of governance that most "western" nations have. I.E English common law. Islamic Sharia law conflicts with the local laws of these countries they are moving to.
