Tourists visit other countries to experience their cultures, history, artistry, architecture and way of life. Not to demand they reshape themselves, abandon their traditions, subvert their religious beliefs and change that way of life to appease themselves.

Those who seek to sterilize or erase aspects of a medium are not engaging with it, they are undermining it.
If you can’t respect the medium as it is and instead want to water down its artistic integrity, you are the problem.
