Why do I have to wait for 24-48 hrs for every process I logged a complaint over a week ago and it’s been series of confusion The first person asked me to apply for account upgrade which I have done , filled the different forms, did video validation To the interesting part, after all those steps, I asked about the feedback and why is it taking too long , Then I was told that I did the wrong thing ( they sent me the wrong forms) this was already 5days after I log the complaint And just like that I have to start all over again This is the height of incompetency!! at this point I know the customer support people by name 😩that’s to tell the number of people I have spoken to and that includes explaining my issue all over again Do the right thing!! @UBAGroup @UBACares PS: I don’t need those AI generated response that you have sent a dm! Because it’s the same loop Just resolve my issue so I can access my money That’s all

Being invited to speak at the @alx_africa graduation event last week alongside Olamide Abolaji was truly nostalgic for me 😊 Four years ago, I was completely clueless about which path in tech to pursue. I eventually enrolled in a nano-degree program at @alx_africa Long story short, I didn’t complete it, not because the program wasn’t solid (it had a structured curriculum and a very supportive community), but because I realized I was missing some foundational knowledge. Jumping straight into the bootcamp only made that clearer, I was even more confused at some point 😂 But this post isn’t about me. I’m incredibly proud of all the graduates, the discipline, growth, and resilience it takes to complete a program like that is no small feat. I’m genuinely excited about what lies ahead for each of them🔥 I truly enjoyed the conversations and the thoughtful questions that came up 🔥 And like I’ll always say: keep putting in the work. Focus on building solid knowledge and skills, every other thing, including the money, will follow 💃 Big congratulations once again to all the graduates 🥳🥳

Lots of beginners quit learning cloud because of networking. I get messages about it all the time. Not because it’s too hard, but because they bury themselves in the details before understanding the big picture. CIDR. Route tables. Firewalls. Certifications like Network+ and CCNA. They go deep into one pillar before they understand how it fits into everything else. The reality is, cloud engineering is more of a Swiss Army knife than a specialized tool. You don’t need to master networking first. You need to understand how it fits into the overall architecture. That’s where the 80/20 rule comes in. Last week, I had the opportunity to speak alongside @oluwaseun_musa and @Oloruntoby_ at the AWS re:Invent Recap. Our conversations centered around security, DevOps, and how AI is reshaping some of the traditional ways we approach both. I truly enjoyed the session and learned a lot from my fellow speakers 🔥 One question that really stayed with me was: “AWS announced the Security Agent for proactive application security and enhanced GuardDuty with AI/ML for detecting multi-stage attacks. How do you see AI changing the security landscape, both as a tool for defenders and as a potential attack vector we need to protect against?” My perspective? I don’t necessarily think AI improves security. I think it changes the scope of security and forces us to rethink how we approach it. On one hand, it feels like AI is more on the defensive side in multiple ways like enabling proactive threat detection, reducing MTTR, automating response workflows etc. While on the other hand, it expands the attack surface. It introduces new risks. And we’re already seeing more sophisticated, AI-enabled attacks. So it feels like a constant balance, almost a tug of war. The real differentiator isn’t AI itself, but how we choose to use it. That’s my current thinking, though and I’m curious🤔 Do you see it the same way, or do you have a different perspective?
