Call of Duty have released the first phase of a fix to address people exploiting XP in the Black Ops port on PS4 and PS5. Hackers were giving players negative XP, making them unable to play the game. This has been fixed and those players have been reset to lvl 20. I did not think Activision would support these ports post launch but I’m very happy to be wrong about that. They say more mitigations are coming with future updates

@CODUpdates Holy shit. W. Idc what people say. Activision has fucked up but @IronGalaxy or whatever team is on this clearly cares. It has issues but thanks for addressing issues. If you address unfilled matches and certain QoL stuff you'll get so much goodwill

Disgraceful ass community, I’m not even surprised. And this is only the start, I’m already seeing clips of potential cheaters and hackers. Same community cried up and down because I insisted on better security measures for these ports. Insane. @Treyarch @IronGalaxy @Activision I’m sure you guys will post about how successful these ports have been, will you also address these blatant problems?

Call of Duty has disabled select playlists on the Black Ops 1 ports for PS4 and PS5 after exploits went viral. They say they’re investigating the issues.
