@TodayJays My hypothesis is that attendance was great early on until fans saw that the team was a non-contender. Next year I don't see it starting off at the same attendance levels.

According to baseball reference, the Toronto Blue Jays saw an attendance drop of 11.8% from 2023 to 2024. What’s surprising is that is still their 2nd highest attendance recorded since 2017

I spent last night at the ER -_- Thankfully, it's nothing too serious. I went in with a massive headache and numbness on the left side of my face. It turns out it's only Bell's palsy and nothing more serious. All that to say that there won't be any posts tonight, and a big thank you to all the staff at the hospital. Y'all are fucking legends.

@JCtheVictor @BrockRiddickIFB And the overhead trees have a huge impact. As you get closer to the trees, the overhead branches appear to "go higher" because of your perspective changing to them. It gives you the added feeling of the building shrinking in relation to them.

@rhcm123 @nonbinaryplanet I also own a a crockpot without a "vent" at all. And it does exactly as you describe. The lid rattles against the ceramic constantly releasing pressure. It's annoying, which is probably why they added the vent, not because it turns into a bomb lol.

For all of the "that's a vent! you just made a bomb" people out there.... Hamilton Beach sells premade bombs then?

@rhcm123 My crockpot has a hole in the lid. And a thermometer for the hole. And a silicone insert to make the hole air tight. And the thermometer plugs into the crockpot so it can turn off when it's at heat. But if you plug it, it's a bomb? Make it make sense.
