But most likely, I’m spewing this on a platform no one uses anymore because my dad died four years ago today and I miss that man and I’ll do anything to avoid thinking about it.

Also, to be clear. I was an awful cyclocross racer. Abysmal.

So yeah…I don’t miss racing #cyclocross. Which is weird to say. l because I love it.

Cyclocross shot itself in the foot circa 2009. And to be clear, I’m specifically speaking of American grass roots CX. It became a “show,” a “thing,” and “a culture.”

I miss road racing, I absolutely miss time trials and stage races, but ‘cross…meh. And I was a ‘cross evangelist.

The funny thing is…I don’t miss #cyclocross…
