@CotteeTom @agargmd @Saintsman3 Guess who sits on the board that decides the recommended eating guidelines? Not nutritionists, it's lobbyists from dairy and animal agriculture. So the food pyramid, my plate, the four food groups were all decided upon based on money not based on your health.

I got into a debate with a physician friend over the hols about whether docs should care about nutrition. My view: it’s a missed opp to talk to patients about an actionable change we can make. Them: it’s not our job. The patient can see a nutritionist. Where do you stand?
